In the wake of the Trayvon Martin tragedy, much has been said about, and to, young Black men. The San Francisco Bay Area-based College Bound Brotherhood (CBB) thought it was time to hear from young Black men themselves.
Over the month of August, CBB has been sharing powerful responses by young Black men as part of the “Our Lives Matter: College Bound Brothers Speak” video series. Watch these powerful one minute stories as they share their thoughts on the Trayvon Martin verdict and being a young black man in today’s society. View the full playlist on YouTube.
College Bound Brotherhood works on increasing the college readiness, access, persistence, and completion of African American young men from the San Francisco Bay Area. It is supported by the Kapor Center for Social Impact and the College Access Foundation of California and facilitated by the Marcus Foster Education Fund.
